Mr. Dadiseth is a Non-Executive Chairman of Omnicom India, a Member of the International Advisory Board of Fleishman-Hillard Inc., a Non-Executive Director of Prudential plc, and a Member of the International Advisory Board of Goldman Sachs – with special focus on South Asia. Mr. Dadiseth is also a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sony India Private Limited and Senior Advisor to the Sony Group in India. He is on the Boards of The Indian Hotels Company Limited, Britannia Industries, Piramal Healthcare, Siemens, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, ICICI Prudential Asset Management Trust and Godrej Properties Limited With effect from January 1, 2010, Mr. Dadiseth is Chairman of the Convening Board of Marsh & McLennan Companies, India.

Joining Hindustan Unilever in 1973, Mr. Dadiseth served in various positions in the firm ranging from commercial manager for the detergents business since 1978, and MD and Vice Chairman for Hindustan Unilever from 1995 to 1996. He also served on the Unilever Global Board as Director of Home and Personal Care at Unilever between January 2001 and May 2005.



Nawshir is an independent director on the boards of Thermax Ltd. and Exide Industries Limited. Since 1999 he has served on the boards of various companies including in the Tata Group and Mphasis Ltd.

Since 2003 Nawshir has been involved in the movement for improved governance in the corporate sector.

Nawshir is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He was with S.R.Batliboi & Co./Ernst & Young, from 1967 till his (early) retirement in April 2003, in its Calcutta and Mumbai offices. He also worked in the London office.

Nawshir was the India head of Jardine Matheson Ltd. for over ten years after retiring from the profession, during which time he also served on boards of some other companies and charities.

Nawshir has contributed to the governance and accounting professions, being a speaker or the chair at conferences in India & abroad and authoring several professional publications. He has chaired and served on the boards of various professional bodies and chambers of commerce.

He strongly believes in human-kind taking responsibility for destruction of the natural world. Nawshir is actively involved with The Energy Resources Institute (TERI) amongst other NGO’s.



O.P. Bhatt is currently an independent Non-Executive Director of Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation and Tata Consultancy Services as well as serving as an Non-Executive Director of Standard Chartered PLC since January 2013. He is also a Governor on the Board of the Center for Creative Leadership, a US non-profit leadership development organization.

Until March 2011, Mr. Bhatt was Chairman of the State Bank Group, which includes the State Bank of India (“SBI”), India’s largest commercial bank. In a career spanning 38 years with SBI, Mr. Bhatt held a number of roles beginning with the Lead Bank Department, which ushered in financial inclusion, leading the project team that pioneered SBI’s technology initiative in the 1990s, assignments at SBI’s London and Washington offices, general management roles between 2004-2006, and Managing Director of SBI in 2006, culminating in his appointment as Chairman in the same year. Mr. Bhatt has also served as Chairman of the Indian Banks’ Association. Mr. Bhatt led SBI through challenging times by capitalising on the bank’s strengths. Under his leadership, SBI rose on the Global List rankings of Fortune 500.

Mr. Bhatt was nominated ‘Banker of the Year’ by Business Standard and CNN-IBN Indian of the Year for Business in 2007. Mr. Bhatt holds a Graduate degree in Physics and a Post Graduate degree in English literature (Gold Medal).



Pradeep Mallick graduated in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras and received a Diploma in Business Management from UK. He is a ‘Chartered Engineer’, Fellow of the Institution of Engineering & Technology (FIET), London. He was honoured by IIT Madras with the Distinguished Alumnus Award.

From 1967 to 1988, Pradeep worked with Crompton Greaves, Tata Exports, EMC & Genelec in the field of Power Distribution & Power Transmission, primarily in managing large turnkey projects in India, Gulf, West Asia and North Africa.

In 1988, he helped establish the Finnish Company Wartsila in India as a greenfield project and led the Company as its Managing Director for 15 years till 2003. The Company is a leader in gas and heavy-fuel based power for use by Utilities and Industry and majorly for marine propulsion. He was conferred Knight First Class of the Order of The White Rose of Finland by the President of Finland.

Pradeep is a Past Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Western Region and a Past President of Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Pradeep has also served the Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET), London, in various capacities on International Board, Members Board, International Strategy Working Party and Council.

Since 2003, Pradeep is an Executive Coach/Mentor to Corporate Executives and a Strategic Adviser cum Sounding Board to CEOs. He has served on the Boards of several Companies as a Professional Independent Non-Executive Director.

Pradeep is also associated with several Social causes and is a Trustee of Population First and of Dignity Foundation.

He has also been involved in Forensic engagements on behalf of Government and leading business houses. His prior experiences include stints with the Chicago office of Arthur Young & Co (now merged with Ernst & Young) and a three month consulting assignment in Poland with Polish Business Advisory Services (PBAS) in the areas of Activity Based Costing & Global Strategic Planning in Polish Enterprises. PBAS is an affiliate of International Finance Corporation (Washington). Mr. Haribhakti strongly believes in the virtues of Corporate Social Responsibility, Governance and promoting a greener environment. He actively promotes these causes through forums like ASSOCHAM, CII and the Indian Merchants’ Chamber. He contributes towards their evolution by participating in the process of framing regulations and standards. He is a Director on the Board of many public and private companies and holds chairmanship or membership in the regulatory committees of some Indian companies.



Belonging to one of the early batches of investment bankers in India, Mr. Mitra was instrumental in setting up the Merchant Banking Divisions of two banks – Bank of India and Standard Chartered Bank. He has also headed Corporate Banking and Investment Banking at American Express Bank. At a stage when asset management was in the early stage of development in the country, he set up the GIC Mutual Fund in India. He has also been active in several important Committees and Chambers in India.

In June 1994, when he joined the Aditya Birla Group as Director, Financial Services he was responsible for establishing the highly respected and successful financial services activities for the Group. Setting up and overseeing the highly successful stock broking company dealing in both equity and fixed income securities, managing the financial services businesses as CEO, being a member of Board, Executive Committee, Investment Committee, Audit Committee of each of the companies in financial services are some of the accolades he has credited to his name at the Aditya Birla Group. With effect from August 1, 2007 he has stepped down from active role for an advisory role. He has been associated with several reputed companies as an independent Director and Advisor.
